OPEN HOUSE SCHEDULED IN THE FINGER LAKES REGION TO DISCUSS
LARGE TRUCK TRAFFIC ON LOCAL ROADS
Representatives of Governor David Paterson's Office and the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will travel to the Finger Lakes Region to hold a series of open house meetings regarding large truck traffic on local roads through Finger Lakes communities where safety and quality of life issues have been identified as a problem.
Achieving the balance between safety, quality of life and economic vitality continues to be a primary focus for Finger Lakes residents. Therefore, the purpose of these meetings is to provide community members with updated information in an open forum where dialogue and discussion can occur with members of the Governor’s Office and NYSDOT staff.
